Holobiont collective has been established in 2017 by two artists: choreographer and performer Aleksandra Bożek-Muszyńska and theater scientists and choreographer Hanna Bylka-Kanecka. Their field of creative interests are interdisciplinary multi-generational projects. Combining experimental dance, visual arts and music, the artists create interactive performances and offer workshops for families with children.
The work of the collective is based on the assumption that every participant of the performance - regardless of age and experience - is a fully competent performing arts recipient. Focusing on the diversity of the creative engagement of their audiences, the artists observe and explore the possibilities of deepening long-term relationships through art.
They have debuted on contemporary dance scene for children with interactive spectacle “roundABOUT” (2017, Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk, Poznań) and continues their creation with works: "Moonland" (2018, Ochota Theater, Warsaw), “_on_line__” (2018, Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk, Poznań), “Where shapes have necks” (2019, Children's Art Centre, Poznań). So far, their performances were staged during the most important events and festivals in Poland such as Polish Dance Platform, Malta Festival, Warsaw Theater Meetings Festival, Sztuka Szuka Malucha (Art Seeks The Toddler), Teatralna Karuzela (Theater Carousel Festival) and others. They collaborate with Art Stations Foundation in frame of its long-standing, and innovative on the Polish scale, educational program Dancing Families.
